Xiaomi Largest smartphone Maker June 2021: After beating Samsung and Apple, Now Xiaomi becomes the largest Smartphone maker globally in July 2021. In June 2021 Xiaomi achieve a new milestone in World’s top-selling smartphone brand.

As per the recent market report by Counterpoint Research, Xiaomi is now the Topmost brand in global smartphone sales volumes. This is often the primary time Xiaomi has achieved this position, because of a 26% MoM growth in sales in June 2021.

While it had been the best-selling smartphone brand in June 2021, Samsung still retains the highest spot for Q2 2021 as an entire. Xiaomi took the second spot within the Q2, with a 98% YoY growth and over 50 million units shipped.

Now the Xiaomi has a 9% global revenue share in the market. In comparison, Apple has 41%  and Samsung has a 15% revenue share. Tarun Pathak the Research director in Counterpoint Research Clarify: Ever since the decline of Huawei commenced, Xiaomi has been making consistent and aggressive efforts to fill the gap created by this decline. The OEM has been expanding in Huawei’s and Honor’s legacy markets like China, Europe, Middle East and Africa. In June, Xiaomi was further helped by China, Europe, and India’s recovery and Samsung’s decline due to supply constraints.”

However, the report speculates that Samsung will likely retain its top spot once it recovers from the assembly issues that it’s facing in Vietnam. If its production doesn’t recover, Xiaomi will still gain market share within the coming months.
