The Remembrance of the Grafted can be bought to any merchant for a reasonable amount of Runes or consumed by you to get those Runes. However, this is not a good idea. Although there are many other ways to earn Runes in the game, the only Remembrance is the Grafted. It can be duplicated with great effort, so you won’t be able to trade it for Runes.

Enia, the Finger Reader at Roundtable Hold, is the real draw to the Remembrances of the Grafted. Enia can draw power from the Remembrances to transform them into powerful weapons, based on their namesakes.

Enia is able to transform the Remembrance of the Grafted in one of two weapons: the Axe of the Godrick or the Grafted Dragon.

Godrick’s iconic golden greataxe, the Axe of Godrick. This greataxe scales with STR, DEX and swings slowly, but it strikes like a truck. It is a good choice for tanky melee characters. You can also use some FP to smash into the ground and create large shockwaves with this skill “I Command Thee! Kneel!”

The Grafted Dragon refers to the giant dragon head Godrick grafts onto himself during your battle with him. The Grafted Dragon is a fist weapon which scales with STR and DEX and Faith. Every swing also deals fire damage. The Grafted Dragon’s special skill is “Bear Witness!”, which allows it to spread flames across a large area.

These weapons can only be picked one at a time, and the other would require you to have a second Remembrance of the Grafted. You can duplicate Remembrance items at a Walking Mausoleum. However, you can only do so once. Each Mausoleum is limited in its ability to be used once.
