MediaTek Launch Two New Chipset Dimensity 920 and Dimensity 810

MediaTek Two New Chipset Dimensity 920 and Dimensity 810: MediaTek recently launched two new chipsets Dimensity 920 and Dimensity 810.  They’re an evolution of the Dimensity 900 and Dimensity 800, respectively, and are built on TSMC’s 6nm manufacturing process.

Both come with octa-core CPUs and support for FHD+ displays with a 120Hz screen refresh rate suggesting they’re intended for mid-range phones.

The MediaTek Dimensity 920 has powerful Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.5GHz with the Cortex-A55 ones clocked at 2GHz. Apart GPU could be a Mali-G68 MC4. Mediatek claims an optimized design for power efficiency should offer to 9% faster gaming performance over the Dimensity 900.

The Dimensity 920 supports LPDDR4x and LPDDR5 RAM, also as UFS 2.2 and UFS 3.1 storage. It gives makers extra flexibility when it involves building smartphones with it. It supports Dual 5G SIM connectivity also as VoNR service. Other specs include all the newest Wi-Fi standards, 2×2 MIMO, and Bluetooth 5.2.

However, Dimensity 810 chip is the first 6nm in Dimensity 800 series and It offers a dual 5G stand-by. But it offered an older Cortex-A76 powerful CPU core clocked at 2.4GHz and Cortex-A55 power-efficient. It is packed with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and support for up to LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

Availability

The Dimensity 920 and Dimensity 810 is expected to arrived in smartphones as soon as Q3 2021. We can assume that the Dimensity 920 and 810 firstly arrives in any of Oppo, Vivo, Realme, or Xiaomi.
